On Matvichuk: can’t hurt. If he doesn’t have it anymore, there’s no commitment. If he can still play, could be a reasonable depth signing. Although the nos. 5-7 defensive positions are looking crowded with Backman, Russell, Tollefsen, Methot, Rome, and Wilson all contending for spots (assuming the top four are set as some combination of Tyutin, Klesla, Commodore and Hejda) already.
On Boll: hope he’s healed in time for the season.
