    Why am I not shocked by this potential development? The CBJ need to seriously look into a trade as soon as World Juniors are wrapped up. Get something for him now.

      For the right deal, I think they could move Filatov. He’s probably the most tradeable asset they have right now, in terms of having value but not having any role in the current lineup. If they could swing a deal for a good all-around defenseman by including Filatov, I’d be in favor of them doing it.

      Of course, any Filatov deal has the potential to be the Pavol Demitra for Christer Olssen moment…
