And an update

Dayton lost 5-3 on Saturday, now trail the Cyclones 3-1 in the series.

ECHL playoff series go 2-3-2, so the Cyclones can wrap it up on home ice on Monday.

Although I am cheering for Dayton, I wouldn’t be overly unhappy to see Cincinnati move on. The fans who have remained loyal to hockey in the city deserve some good news coming their way. And either way, it presents further possibilities for bonus live hockey this season (which will come in handy if I’m to succeed in the Randomville 50 sporting events in 2007 challenge) in one or the other of my least favorite hockey arenas (I have strong aesthetic objections to US Bank Arena, but I just loathe pretty much everything about the Nutter Center…)
