Sens back in the series

Beer + Burgers + Big Screen TV showing playoff hockey outside = Perfection

First off, thanks as always to Mike and Natalie at the R Bar for providing a hockey-friendly environment for fans to gather and watch the games, for the free burgers, and especially for leaving the hockey game on the big TV outside over the protestations of the Cavs bandwagoners in popped collars. Kudos!

Well, Ottawa is showing signs of making a series of it now. And if people wanted controversy, now we have one incident for each team’s supporters to feel aggrieved about.

For the Sens fans, Chris Pronger’s elbow on Dean McAmmond and his one game suspension, despite this not being his first suspension offense in these playoffs:

For the Ducks fans, was it a distinct kicking motion? (about 1:40 in):

In any event, this is turning into a good series. Looking forward to Game 4 tomorrow night.

  1. You know what they say…a Stanley Cup finals doesn’t really start until a road team wins a game. We’ll see what happens in Game 4, especially without Pronger.

    I’m pulling for the Sens because a) Alfie is one of my favorite players and I’d love to see him lift the Cup, and b) You gotta stick with the Eastern Conference.
