Jackets 2, Sharks 1
The winning continues. And this was one of those games where the CBJ didn’t necessarily look all that great, but they gutted their way to a win over a pretty good team. After games like that, It’s hard not to get excited. Because past editions of the Jackets have always been able to win games where they completely dominated an opponent…but when they had to play tough and defensively smart hockey and not collapse into a shell after they take the lead, not so much. It appears this team is as Hitch said it would be: tough to play against.
That may not be enough to ultimately get them in the playoffs, but it’s a damn important step along that road.

Bit better crowd than recent games, but still worryingly low
Sharks score early
The game started early so as not to conflict with the OSU football game. Some early evening natural light still came through the windows at the east end.
