Bombers 7, Cyclones 5: Photoblog

Took advantage of being in Cincinnati for the holiday to take in some ECHL action at US Bank Arena. The Cyclones were taking on the erstwhile-CBJ affiliated Dayton Bombers. It was a bit of a wild one — Cincinnati dominated play for most of the first two periods, but couldn’t take the lead decisively, as starting goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris was letting in every second Dayton shot. Cedric Desjardins put in a much more respectable performance in net once he went in, but by that point, momentum had shifted to the team from Fairborn, and they went home with the 7-5 win. All in all, a fun night of hockey. Lots of goals, lots of hits, several fights, and a really good (and cheap) cheeseburger.

Oh yeah, the Cyclones still get to have “Rock n Roll Part 2” as their goal song…
