OSU Hockey Schedule(s)

Via Light The Lamp, the OSU Buckeyes Men’s Hockey Schedule for 2008-09:

Of note, the Green & Gold Satan will be playing in the Ohio Hockey Classic, which is also shifted to after New Year’s Day this time. Michigan comes for a two-game series in February that should put some butts in the seats at the Schott. The season is bookended by home-and-homes with Miami. The only non-conference visitor to the Schott outside the OHC is Bentley, although the Buckeyes will travel to play Denver and Robert Morris.

The OSU Women’s Hockey schedule is also available. They start off the season with another exhibition against Wilfrid Laurier, one of my half dozen or so alma maters. I’ll have to go to that one. It’s also tantalizing to see that the Buckeyes will be playing St. Lawrence this season, but unfortunately it’s in Canton. Hopefully this does mean a return visit by either the Women’s or Men’s Saints next season…

(The Men’s Saints do play at Michigan this year, which is temptingly within driving distance, but due to election related time commitments, I’m loath to plan any weekend travel in October)

One response to “OSU Hockey Schedule(s)

  1. Going to be an interesting year at OSU. Casey Jones left to be associate coach at Cornell, his alma mater. It’s the last year of Markell’s contract and he’s going to melt down if Zac Dalpe signs with Carolina.
