Jackets 2, Coyotes 5: Photoblog

First game I’ve gotten to since opening night, and there was little of the new, improved CBJ on display. They played without a lot of urgency and without a lot of discipline, and the result was Phoenix jumping out to a 4-0 lead before the Jackets scored a couple late ones to make it look respectable. Young Mason was certainly not responsible for the scoreline all by himself, but he did look human, so it may be a bit more palatable now to send him back to Syracuse now that Leclaire is healthy.

I hope for better Friday night in Beau Fleuve…also hope for better crowds in Columbus in the near future. Tonight’s game didn’t exactly make the case that they deserve more paying customers, but sheesh, that may have been the smallest crowd I’ve ever seen in there.
